Help YOUR cooperative collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas by sippin' all summer!Bring your pop tabs to FreeState's member appreciation event on September 29 and do your part to help keep families close right here in Northeast Kansas.

Collecting pop tabs is a fun and easy way to give back to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas – perfect for all ages and groups. When large amounts of aluminum pop tabs are collected at the House, we take them to a recycling center. According to the price of aluminum, the recycling center gives us a check. This check goes back into the House for general operating expenses – keeping our doors open to continue to serve our families.

Why pop tabs?
The pop tabs are made of different quality aluminum and are more easily recycled than cans. They are cleaner and easier to handle when receiving large volumes. However, the amount of money received is determined by the weight of the aluminum collected. These pop tabs can make a big impact when collected in numbers.

How can you help FreeState?
Just sip all summer and collect those tabs. This is a great fun family challenge! Grown-ups challenge the kids, or kids challenge the grown-ups to see just how many tabs they can collect over the summer months.

FreeState's member appreciation event is on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Just bring your summer collection along with you and drop it off. We'll make sure RMHC gets all the tabs.

Can't make it to the event? No problem. You can drop off the tabs at either cooperative office from September 16 to September 26 during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Every pop tab you pop is one step closer to keeping families close together. Be a superhero for others and Pop A Top to Drop!
